Powerful shots. How about the photo of the three camels in the desert. Where was that taken? (I lived in Iran for 9 months as a child and can remember camels walking past my house) 🙂
Ha Ha! In my young days I used to go out only after evenings, now I fear for my safety 😉
On a serious note, thank you for pointing out. It’s been a while, I took night pictures…Hm!
I’m Dutch and I come from the Netherlands 🙂 so you have a new dutch friend…..and a t-shirt!
I remember faintly you mentioned Naples in Italy which is pending in your bucket list.
But I prefer this. Let me rephrase
A Hippie friend of Dutch origin from Netherlands. That will be enough to keep people off me 😀
I’m glad you’re back. I missed you!
I’m living in Italy so you wasn’t at all wrong and hahaha it’s nice to have a funny friend, have a great day! 🙂
You mentioned Italy last when we discussed labyrinths in Naples.
It’s nice to have an honest friend!
Have a pleasant day 🙂
Powerful shot, It is sad to see anyone sleeping out of doors, this touched my heart, thank you for sharing
I’m sure brubeck had gigs like that
This post is dedicated to your poem and of course him.
Hi Arjun. This puts things into perspective. Where do you take your photographs if you don’t mind me asking?
This particular one is from the streets of Mumbai (India). I roam about the city in the night alone with a hipflask and a camera.

That’s taken in a place called Nubra valley in ladakh (India) These are double-humped camels unlike the normal ones we come across.
Great shot!
Thanks Debra! I loved your poem “why is it different for you”. Do read Adagio II. I hope you’ll like it
I’m glad you like that poem. Can you provide me with a link to Adagio II ?

It resonates with your poem I read today about street musicians. Salute to their spirit.
