a tad of joy
a bin of hurt
my life – apparent trivial,
beyond the high walls
i hear the self-indulgent celebrations..
it’s time, I sense
life will finally come by,
untie the knot
let me drift
blood – fresh,
from the nails…
i begged Him
to see me just this once;
comfort my writhing soul.
tired and frail
i am unsure of a decent burial.
my final prayer.
fresh blood twining down my nails…

There’s something truly wonderful in those three words.
Hello Arjun, I have nominated you for the Inspiring Blogger award. I have really enjoyed your poetry and photos. For more information, if you are interested, follow the link; http://habitualrunaway.wordpress.com/2012/12/14/very-inspiring-blogger-award/
Thank you Ana, This is too good to be true although writing 7 things about myself is 7 times tougher than writing 70 poems 😀 nevertheless I shall comply for I am more keen to nominate 15 bloggers. I owe it to them.
Oh yes, of course – but I can also tell that your poetry comes from a deep place. I have enjoyed all of your blog – I find your photos to be very moving as well – that is saying nothing of your personal tales! Excellent blog, Arjun =)
I got an excellent idea. I am going to print this comment of yours and paste it on my laptop screen. Forever =D
Oh thank you – definitely truth. =D
a lovely piece !
Thank you Ayesha ! I was giggling at your joke. I need to visit your blog often to take a breather from my stuff here 🙂 Nice to meet you
haha thanks alot for appreciating….stay in touch 🙂
Wow. We wait and wait, consumed by our own thoughts, wrapped in our private blog cocoons. Millions of thoughtful people finding their voice,sharing, reaching out. Your voice found me; inspired me and lifted my spirit.Thank you.
I am a month old blogger, seeking writers I can read and share with…
but what you just is a friendly warning, that maybe a few months down the line, I might too, comfortable in my cocoon stop to look outside. That day my learning will stop. Thanks for leaving me a token of advice, that will come handy to me in future.
Trust me when I say the “cocoon” reference was more of a reminder to myself. I have been blogging since May, and my confidence grows daily. A chance stumble upon your blog is my reminder to keep my heart and mind open.
We learn and relearn our own resolutions time and again. I am humbled.
If you don’t mind me asking, may I know your name? It just helps me communicate better.
Valerie, You write good. I just read your new post. Please message me the link to regret and any other post that you feel i should read – you may also say “All” and I shall comply.
here’s a link as my comment to your new post.
Thanks. Here’s Regret –
To fully explain – I write my opinion or point of view every day. Only once have I posted something written from my soul. ( the post is called Regret if you want to read it) My thank you is for not only writing beautifully, but giving me the courage to break out of my cocoon.
