This photo and your poem remind me of the Guru trip: the Guru is always the focus and God and you [as in any person] are not. The Guru won’t ever let you be an equal, which is absurd because it’s all about union and equality.
That’s an interesting take. Thank you for sharing. It reminds me of Sadat Hassan Manto, a writer whose words are marked on his grave with:
“In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Here lies Saadat Hasan Manto and with him lie buried all the secrets and mysteries of the art of short-story writing…
Under tons of earth he lies, still wondering who among the two is greater short-story writer: God or He.”
You have an amazing way of starting a dialogue with only a few, well chosen, words!!! Excellent.
Wow, It feels so good to hear a compliment from you Clanmother!
Thank you – you seek the truth in ways that resonate with your readers.
And in return they draw out new dimensions to our own understanding of truth. It’s beautiful!
🙂
Ha Ha!
A compelling photo.
Thank you Elena!
A delightful picture. I love the happy faces of all the men. Beautifully composed.
I’m glad you like it. It’s a privilege to hear from a brilliant photo artist as you.
Very nice 😀 I like the focus in the photo!
Intriguing photo! The man in focus– should I know who he is? Certainly he is striking looking– very handsome with that gentle smile.
🙂
Love the smiles and happiness!
🙂 🙂

You mean to say this Saadat Hasan Manto, does not have an H.R.H. in front of his name? lol
That’s a cool story. Deep meaning in it, I love that I find it funny too. 😉
This particular post is a good example of free flow of thoughts. If you read the comments here you’ll see 😉
